Butter Tarts

Makes 12.

Pre heat oven to 375°F and position a rack in the lower thrid.

Beat 1/3 cup of unsalted butter and 3/4 cup of brown sugar. Beat in Egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 tablespoon cream.

Fill tart shells 2/3 full with butter mixture.

Optional- raisins, pecans, walnuts, almonds.

Tip – cook tarts shells 5 mins before filling.

Bake for 13-15 mins. Cool on wire rack.
