Beef Chow Fun

Based on the Woks of Life cook book “Chicken chow fun” recipe on page 108

Ingredients

  • Stir fry beef with ginger and garlic
  • noodle of choice, cook according to package
  • add veggie of choice (bean sprouts, carrots, green onions, broccoli)

Instructions

To make the sauce combine the following

  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper

Assemble

Health a wok over high heat until smoking. Then add 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil to coat. Stir fry beef about 90% done. Remove from heat and set aside.

With the wok still on high, add remaining 1 11/2 tablespoon of oli. Add garlic, ginger, green onion for 15 seconds. Add cooked noodles.
